We’ve come to an agreement with the Presbytery of Long Island to run their resource center located at 42 Hauppauge Road in Commack, NY. This means PRC will now have a physical presence at three Long Island locations: Rocky Point, Bellport, and Commack. We will be welcoming all the PCUSA churches in Suffolk and Nassau counties as members of the center. They will have access to all our resources as well as the services of our trained consultants to assist them in all areas of ministry.

The Presbytery voted unanimously in favor of the motion for the PRC to administer and operate their resource center at their June 24 meeting held at the Northport Presbyterian Church. Representatives from the Personnel Committee spoke of the advantages of the agreement and Rev. Jeanne Baum, a retired Presbyterian pastor and former PRC consultant, described the work of the PRC and the services which the churches of the Presbytery would enjoy through their relationship with the PRC.

Beginning Tuesday July 8, 2014 the new satellite office in Commack will be open four days a week: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. For more information contact the PRC by phone at 631-821-2255 or by e-mail at info@prcli.org.
